SAD Harmonisation From 21 January all customs declarations for import / export messages must be undertaken under SAD-H. This procedure is a very large step towards harmonising the way declarations are made throughout the EU. It means that our web-based system “Webdecs”, has needed to change in order to be ready for SAD-H. In turn it means that our clients will need to send additional data as required by the declaration concerned and over the past few weeks we have steadily been preparing our clients for all these changes. We are pleased to say that everything is in place and all clients are successfully migrated onto SAD-H. In fact our client base has now increased because a number of businesses have concluded that to repeatedly key in the same data time and time again for every declaration, when the volumes of data needed has increased, is clearly not the right way forward! Webdecs is a feature rich declaration system with downloads / uploads and template facilities; all designed to make the life of a user as easy as possible. So, if more and more businesses are discovering Webdecs then so the much better for both them and us! P.S. – Don’t forget our test system is free and so a prospective client can try it all out in advance of any commitment. If Webdecs is not clearly better than your current system, then don’t change.
